Looking for old pictures

We will be adding to this website with old pictures from previous reunions or mini reunions. If you have some to share, send them to contact@sshs63.com
This will also give us a head start on collecting pictures for the 50th reunion. If you would also put in the e-mail a note about the picture and the people in the picture, that would help.

We had about 15 e-mails that bounced when we sent the last newsletter. Be sure to let us know if you move or change your contact information. We also appreciate your help finding people on the “missing classmate” list. We are happy to communicate about mini-reunions. Just let us know!!
Puget Sound Area Classmates – Mini reunion in September

September Get-together Planned for Puget Sound Area Classmates
An informal, mini-reunion is planned for Friday, September 23, Noon-4:00 pm, at the northeast Seattle home of Glen and Susan Johnson. Lunch will be potluck (salad, main dish, or dessert); cups, plates and utensils provided. Bring a beverage of your choosing. Come and enjoy some good conversation with “old” friends!

Mini Reunion in 2005

What fun to have a mini reunion in someone’s back yard. I actually think this party was in someone’s new shop. The class of 1963 can party anywhere.
Mini-Reunions

This was the first attempt for our newsletter staff to host a mini-reunion. We decided to send out the word that we would meet at noon on Saturday of the Mt. Angel Oktoberfest. We had red & blue flowers, ribbons, signs, and a table ready for all classmates to join us. We waiting for an hour, then another hour, then another hour. As we determined no classmates would show, we proceeded in gathering people from the beer garten and made them honorary SAXONS. We took our picture with them, gave them Saxon ribbons, and cheered them on for being good sports. We know that many classmates have made efforts to get mini-reunions organized since then. The most successful have been the snowbirds that go to California and Arizona in the winter. If you have hosted a mini-reunion, let the newsletter staff know and we can post your successes on this website and in the next newsletter.
